How does it work?

We have chosen a number of stunning little and large airstrips (click here to see the airstrips), for you to

fly to.  Some are one-way-in, one-way out strips.  Some are HUGE, some are small.  Some are grassy, 

some are asphalt.  As the Pilot in Command, you must do your sums to choose where you can, and can't go in

the aircraft type you are flying.  We certainly hope you will consider your personal skill level, and ALWAYS

ALWAYS STAY SAFE!

The selection of fields are designed to be FUN, and CHALLENGING.  Some have lovely little restaurants, and for others, we recommend you bring a picnic basket or in-flight snacks.

​

Dependnig on the airfield, you will score points.  At the end of the year, at the Year End Function, the top three qualifying scores will win prizes.  In 2019, the prizes were : 3rd - Handheld Radio; 2nd - David Clark basic headset; 1st - Bose Noise Cancelling Headset. Nice.

KZN has it all, from stunning coastlines from Kosi Bay to Port St Johns,  the flat plains around Ladysmith, the famous "Battlefields", the scenic towering Drakensberg that is often covered in snow in spring, to the rugged valleys of the mighty Tugela River.

To join the KZN Passport Program you will need to be a Member of the Pmb Aero Club. If you are joining us for the first time, we will throw in a free passport!  It's easy to join, and won't break the bank, CLICK HERE to join the Club. If you are already a Valued Member, joining will cost you R300,  and a Passport photo.
